Fruit Fly Culture shipped with reptile - Hydei
This is 1 fruit fly culture shipped WITH any live reptile order. We can fit up to TWO OF THESE in a box with your new frogs, lizards or any live reptile, NOT other feeders. If you order only this culture with no reptiles, it will not be shipped out.
You CAN mix and match two feeder containers with a live reptile order. Meaning - you can get 100 crickets AND 50 mealworms. Or - you can get 50 waxworms and 1 Fruit Fly Culture. But it is a total of two per box.
Store at ROOM TEMPERATURE up to 80 degrees. Higher temperatures than this can cause little or no production of flies. Cooler temps slow their reproduction time. Allow the cultures 2-4 days to produce before feeding off (hydei do take longer)
These cultures are the BEST ANYWHERE. We have tested them ALL, and these produce the most and last the longest!
These are Drosophila hydei, a larger fruit fly ideal for chameleons, frogs, etc. They do take a bit longer to reproduce
These last for weeks, and even up to a few months! You can purchase fruit fly media and keep them going even longer
